FACTOID: According to the 1910 US Census, as of April 22, 1910, Arzie Williams, age 29, lived in Gaskin City (Harrisburg Township),Saline County, State of Illinois. No street address was given. He was listed as a coal miner and could neither read nor write. He was married for 5 years to Ellen, age 22, and had a daughter Vera, age 4. Ellen could read and write. Arzie plus both of his parents were born in Illinois. Ellen and her mother were born in Inninois but her father was born in Missouri.

FACTOID: According to the 1910 US Census, as of May 11, 1910, John S. Sinsabaugh, age 54 lived in Mountain Township, Saline County, State of Illinois. No street address was given. He was listed as a farmer who owned his farm. John was born in Missouri while his parrents were both born in Ohio. He could read and write. He was married 11 years to Sarah A., age 54, his third wife. It was the second marriage for Sarah who had 10 children from her first marriage, 6 of which were still living. Sarah could read and write. She was born in Kentucky as was both of her parents. Also living in the household were Lucien, age 18, a farm laborer, and Ernest, age 14, both of which could read and write. (Note that although the Census implied that John married Sarah in 1899, the Illinois Marriage Index shows that John married Mrs. Sally A. Jones on February 8, 1899 in Saline County, IL. This implies that Sarah A. was Sally A. )

FACTOID: According the the 1930 US Census, as of April 8, 1930, Dave Evans, age 29, lived at 713 E. Church Street, Harrisburg, Saline County, State of Illinois. He was listed as a Machine Man(?) at a coal mine. Both he and his parents were born in Illinois. He was married to Sarah, age 30 and was married for 1 year. Sarah and both of her parents were born in Illinois. Also living in the household were Jesse Guest, age 14, Opal Guest, age 13, Ebert Guest, age 8 and Thomas Guest, age 6.

FACTOID: According to an Obituary dated August 11, 1922, "Little Miss ETHEL WILLIAMS, a ten year old school girl of Dorrisville, who has been ill for several days suffering from typhoid died at 8:30 o'clock last night. She was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arzie Williams and was in the third grade at Dorrisville school and well known by the children there. Rev. Cole conducted the funeral at the Baptist church in Dorrisville this afternoon, followed by burial at Liberty cemetery."
